Welcome to Safe in Surrender. There are an infinite number of ways you might have found yourself to this page, and with that you bring your infinite number of experiences, proclivities and desires. Whatever the journey that has brought you here, I believe introductions are in order!
My name is Dominiq (they/them), and I make up one half of Safe in Surrender. Joined by my loving partner of 6.5 years, Mart (they/them), we have created this page as a documentation and exploration of our intimacy and art.
It is our hope that you find joy, pleasure, comfort and inspiration in what we create, and that you may take away something from your time here that better enriches your life, no matter how small.
ABOUT DOMINIQ
I'm a bit of a shape shifter. I've been many things over the years; makeup & FX artist, burlesque/drag/circus performer, stripper, life drawing model, massage therapist, teacher, just to name a few.
The consistent thread has always been PLEASURE and JOY. Whether that's eroticism, embodiment, leisure, entertainment - my guiding force is that which feels good.
Pleasure is my greatest fascination, and I've especially been enamoured by sex and sexuality for as long as I can remember. I want to learn everything I can about it, and continue to amass an impressive library of literature and media on the topic.
ABOUT MART
I'm a soft boy. I've never felt like I fit into typical male or masculine stereotypes, I've always been incredibly gentle and kind, queer, and consider myself more of a listener than a talker.
I love being a witness to things, perhaps that's why I fell in love with photography at an early age. Being able to observe and see things as they are, holding space for what is, and capturing what it is I perceive - that is what intrigues me the most.
Having this outlet to explore sex, relationships and pleasure as acts of creation and creativity greatly excites me. I can't wait for you all to witness with us.
